"I recently had the pleasure of participating in the Her Stories: A Women's Art Show at the Chesapeake Arts Center's Hal Gomer Gallery. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish. The staff was very professional, friendly and responsive. From this encounter alone I was able to network with other talented artists. I am looking forward to more opportunities to work The Chesapeake Arts Center in the future." - Heather A Covington

"My favorite part was getting to meet the person that created the poem I based my art from and how amazing it was to bring art and poetry, young and old together!" Jadyn Hardy
